Sri Lanka

After an incredible month in Egypt, we headed to Sri Lanka to spend 30-days road tripping around the island. We wanted to travel in the most authentic way possible, so we partnered with tuktukrental.com and got our own 3-wheeled chariot.

We spent the next 4 weeks driving over 1,000 kilometers from Negombo to the southern coast & back. Sri Lanka is a biodiversity hotspot, and our trip was fueled by nature. Every day we explored wildlife sanctuaries, discovered new plants, and chose the prettiest road as our route.

The scenery was amazing, but so were the people. We met some of the most friendly host staying at local homestays. They taught us to cook Sri Lankan dishes, invited us to their birthday parties & helped us plan the most incredible route. The 4-weeks flew by, and we still have a lot more to explore when we go back.
